As the sun rises over the shimmering waters and across The Strand, capturing Townsville's skyline, it's buildings and iconic Castle Hill as the backdrop. Created with watercolour and pen details in fresh soft tones to express my love for this great City of Townsville. This watercolour artwork was a pleasure to illustrate from hand drawn images through to adding the final details.

The artwork was inspired by the talented Steve's Ray of Sunshine Photography.
